We are a fully accredited moving company:

  • Better Business Bureau approved
  • Active UTC permit holders (THG065229) ALL MOVING COMPANIES ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO HAVE THIS NUMBER ON THEIR TRUCKS, CARDS AND ALL PAPERWORK.  PAPERWORK AND BILL OF LADING ARE NOW DONE ELECTRONICALLY. ALWAYS ASK YOUR MOVER FOR A WUTC#.

UTC APPROVED PRICING
We are proud to offer you pricing options that are approved by the Utilities and Transportation Commission. What does that mean for you? The UTC exists to regulate the moving industry in an effort to protect you against unsafe and unfair operations. Our active permit status means that we are operating legally within the UTC provisions.

Too much technical talk? Let us break it down for you: Are you finding cheaper options with other moving companies? Be sure to ask if they are active UTC permit holders (or look them up here). (Hint: if they aren’t active permit holders, don’t hire them!)

SERVICES
Our moving service includes provision of necessary moving equipment.

Labor WITH truck
2 Movers: $155/hr
3 Movers: $195/hr
4 Movers: $220/hr

*All WITH TRUCK jobs have a 4 hour minimum – also applied to cancellations less than 48 hours

Labor WITH 2 26′ trucks
5 Movers: $350/hr
6 Movers: $480/hr

*All 2 TRUCK jobs have a 4 hour minimum – also applied to cancellations less than 48 hours

Discounts: Social Media discounts are available and never run out – just ask!

Labor only (NO TRUCK) $20 fuel fee and travel time one way –  4 hour minimum on all jobs
2 Movers: $95/hr
3 Movers: $125/hr

Same Day moves have $200 additional charge.

TRAVEL TIME
By WUTC regulations moving companies are forced to charge port to port.  The clock will begin when we leave the lot and end when we return or complete the job if there is another job following yours.  Our port is located in Kenmore, WA.

OTHER TRAVEL
Ferry: billed to customer
Parking: billed to customer
Toll bridge: billed to customer

PAYMENTS
Credit Card: 5% fee
Checks: No Fee
Cash: 5% discount

BOOKING FEE
To ensure accuracy with scheduling and holding your reservation Seattle Select Moving collects a $25 fee via PayPal.  PayPal adds a 3% fee to this transaction making it $26.03 .  The fee is not applied to your move

OTHER TRAVEL
All WUTC moving companies are licensed, bonded and insured.  All moves come with basic value protection.  Which is .60 cents a lb.  However, additional coverage is available.  This will be explained by your movers upon arrival.

DISCOUNTS
Seattle Select Moving offers considerable discounts on moving, ask about those on the phone when booking your job!   There are also various deals and coupons for our services on local deal websites.  5% Cash discount.
